University of Connecticut Health, Workplace, and Environment: Cultivating Connections Conference

Abstract Submission Instructions
(abstracts must meet these requirements to be accepted!)

  1. All abstracts must be 250 words or less. Include a brief description of the author(s)’s original research, including Statement of Purpose, Methods, Findings, Conclusions, Practical Applications, and Implications for further study.
  2. Type TITLE in caps. Type authors, degrees, and institution, location of institution.
  3. CONFLICT OF INTEREST: The program organizers aim to ensure presentation of balanced, independent, objective information of high scientific integrity. Authors must disclose the existence of any significant financial interest with poster. The abstract must indicate the funding source, if any, for the work described. If a conflict of interest is disclosed, the program organizers will note such information (eg, nature of the disclosed information, associated commercial entity).
  4. HUMAN SUBJECT ASSURANCES: The program organizers endorse the protections embodied in the Basic Principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and their expansion in the regulations governing research supported by the U.S. Government (45 CFR Part 46; 56 FR 28003) and thus neither endorse nor will accept results of research that was not conducted in accordance with these Principles. Authors will need to indicate if the information presented involved human subjects; the research was conducted in accordance with these Principles, and had Institutional Board Approval.
  5. DEADLINE: Abstracts must be received by September 17,2013. You will be notified by email about the acceptance of your abstract. Please note that poster participants must pay to attend the meeting.

Parking available at South Parking Garage (Stadium Rd next to UConn Co-op and Gampel Pavilion) or North Parking Garage (corner of North Hillside Rd and Alumni Rd). Registration fee includes parking in the South or North Garage. Bring your ticket to the conference for validation.
